The Human Cloud Manifesto

We believe access to knowledge and opportunities should be open to everyone.

Lack of access to the tools needed to meet our basic needs like food, water, healthcare, work and learning can often force people into difficult and unpleasant situations, where there are very few choices and little escape.

According to the UN sustainable development goals over 10% of the worlds population live in extreme poverty. Including across wealthy countries.

An individuals ability to thrive is closely intertwined with the future of economies and the way in which work will be done in the near future.

Improving how we meet our basic needs and find purpose is a challenge that needs solving.

The human Cloud is a global collection of Humans represented as interconnected decentralised nodes. Network participants have ownership of their data rights and permission control of its usage.

Principles

The Guiding Principles

Human First The value of an individual should be the highest measure of worth. Using human connections to ensure no-one becomes irrelevant through the open participation of all people.

Discoverability Individuals should be discoverable yet anonymous. Using technology and networks to provide an environment for them to achieve their potential and with greater impact.

Wealth Distribution Institutions should work with communities to remove the barriers of access to learning and opportunities so that individuals are rewarded for their skills, experience and attributes (Human Capital).
